I have participated in www.NaNoWriMo.org for the last several years, but the only thing I have produced is one story: Patience. It's a novella about a woman struggling to cope with the loss of her family and her resulting lifestyle as a homeless crack addict.
The second piece is a short story, Older Guys, that depicts a young gay teenager's first sexual experience. It is a dark and slightly uncomfortable look at how technology has affected the safety of young people.
